A bucket-list dream come true

Photographing the Noy Eliyahu Bridal show at New York Bridal Fashion Week was something I had hoped to do for the longest time - and it absolutely lived up to the dream.

I captured the show first as a spectator, soaking up the atmosphere from the crowd - then stayed behind for something extra special: a private shoot with the models in the showroom. The space was light and airy, with huge windows overlooking the New York streets below. The kind of natural light every photographer dreams of.

And the dresses were simply beautiful. Feminine and delicate, covered in intricate lace, with show-stopping sequin tasselled mini dresses that caught the light with every movement - exactly the kind of modern, editorial bridal fashion I love.

Getting to photograph pieces like these, in a city like New York, was an absolute joy - and a brilliant reminder of why I fell in love with editorial photography in the first place.
